The Ekiti state Commissioner for Health and Human Services, Dr. Mojisola Yaya-Kolade, has urged youths to channel their grievances peacefully.
She said they should always channel their grievances to the government and appropriate authorities in a peaceful and lawful manner.
Dr. Mojisola Yaya-Kolade made this known in Ado-Ekiti at the maiden Ekiti Youth and Women Policy Dialogue and Accountability Forum.
The commissioner said Ekiti State under the leadership of Dr. Kayode Fayemi frowns at rape, child abuse, child trafficking and any act of violence against women.
Yaya-Kolade appreciated Dr. Kayode Fayemi for his initiative on gender equality that gave rise to the active participation of women in Ekiti government.
She urged the parents, especially mothers to desist from the practice of genital mutilations and also enjoined women to always check their breast for early detection of any ailment and timely treatment.
