The Ekiti State Government is set to inaugurate the Third Ekiti Youth Parliament on Friday, 20th September, 2019.
This was made known by the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Michael Awopetu, who revealed that the Youth parliament would be officially inaugurated at the House of Assembly Complex in Ado-Ekiti at 10am.
Reiterating the commitment of the Fayemi-led administration to youth development, Hon. Awopetu explained that the focus of government was to train youths in the state and make them compete favourably with their peers globally.
Awopetu also solicited the continued support of all stakeholders towards the success of the programme, stressing that its success would assist in securing the future of the state and the nation at large.
